Atitlan Studios is a slow resort wear brand made by indigenous artisans in the Highlands of Guatemala by Lake Atitlán. They bring the beautiful Mayan textile designs and the craft of the backstrap loom through contemporary styles that are made to last. The weavers create each garment from naturally dyeing cotton thread using local plants and non-toxic methods and materials, to weaving the textiles with a backstrap loom and wesing it together using embroidery stitching.
